JS Pakistan Day Parade – 23rd March
Pakistan Day (23rd March) is
celebrated annually at the Islamabad Parade
Ground under the supervision of the Pakistan Army, commemorating the historic Lahore
Resolution and showcasing national unity and pride.
The parade features floats from all provinces and regions,
including Gilgit-Baltistan (GB)
and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).
Each float is specially designed with three-dimensional
(3D) models representing the tourism
attractions, cultural heritage, and unique identity of the respective
region.
The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan participates
in the Pakistan Day Parade with comprehensive preparation to effectively
portray the region’s diverse tourism
products, natural beauty, and rich cultural traditions. The Gilgit-Baltistan Float highlights iconic
landscapes, historical landmarks, and traditional life, presenting the region
as a prominent tourism destination.
