The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan actively participates in this prestigious international event to promote Gilgit-Baltistan as a premier global tourist destination. Senior government officials and designated tour operators engage in B2B meetings with international government representatives, media, and travel industry professionals from participating countries.

Initially, the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan participated independently in this annual event, representing the entire country of Pakistan. However, over the past few years, the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan has been participating jointly in this event alongside other provincial governments and the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC).
